The first half it was a toss up between Lincecum & Haren.
And now it’s between Lincecum, still, & Carpenter.

Lincecum’s numbers 2.19 ERA, 205 Ks, 12-3 record, 4 CG(2SO), .211 BAA, & 1.02 WHIP
Carpenter’s numbers 2.27 ERA, 97 Ks, 12-3 record, 2 CG, .229 BAA, & 0.98 WHIP

What sucks is Lincecum started more games.
But the real difference between them has nothing to do w/ their numbers, it’s between the hackers(Cards) vs. the lackers(of offense, Giants).

There should be more than 12 games Timmy should have won if the Giants had a good offense like the Cardinals, but I guess they wanted Timmy to have some competion for the award this year too.
