Oh man. Zito is probably the unluckiest pitcher out there, can’t get any run support even after an alright night giving up 3 ER & only 5 hits.
Cain on the hill tmrw, and I want to say a win for the Giants, but even if Cain only gives up 1 run, with the Giants offense nowhere to be seen I think it’ll be a loss cause, especially with Santana on the mound for the Mets. I hate the negativity I’m producing, but Giants’ offense even with the new bats, can’t seem to start going.
Hopefully the Rockies lose tonight so the Giants don’t lose sight of the Wild Card.
Just can’t catch a break!
Barry Zito has been great so far today, only giving up 1 run(hr) and striking out (while walking himself into trouble) his way out of trouble. But the Giants cannnnot get any of those clutch hits! And then when Benji gets a good hit on a ball, the fricken D for the Braves are all under them! No break at all after the break. Let’s just hope someone hit a hr or hit during a clutch situation. And Panda needs to realize hibernation is done!
